Alebrijes

Alebrijes is a joyful and engaging dance program designed for children to explore cultural traditions through movement. Through age-appropriate instruction, students build confidence, coordination, and a sense of pride in cultural heritage in a fun and supportive environment.

Alebrijes – Kids Dance Classes

In Alebrijes, children learn traditional folkloric dances while developing rhythm, teamwork, and self-expression. Classes incorporate storytelling, music, and movement to help students understand the cultural meaning behind each dance. Our program encourages creativity, respect, and connection while nurturing a lifelong appreciation for culture and the arts.

  • Registration Fee: $40.00 / Family

  • Class Duration: January 7th - April 29th

  • Class Time: Mondays - 6:00 PM - 6:45 PM

  • Ages: 5 - 9

Meet Your Instructor

Alexandra Webb

Alexandra V. Webb is the instructor and choreographer of Ballet Folklórico Heritage. Originally from Mexico, she has been dancing since early childhood and holds a four-year technical certification in Mexican folkloric dance from the Escuela de Danza George Berard at the University of Arts of Aguascalientes. Her training emphasized not only technique and choreography, but also the cultural history and regional traditions behind folklórico.

Alexandra has performed, taught, and choreographed for a wide range of events, including cultural celebrations, community festivals, and church performances. She is passionate about helping dancers connect with Mexican culture in an authentic and meaningful way, teaching the stories and significance behind every movement.

Now based in Rexburg, Alexandra is excited to share her knowledge and love for folklórico with the community, inspiring dancers of all ages to celebrate and take pride in Mexico’s rich cultural heritage.
