To introduce students to another Native culture, we explored the traditions of the Hawaiian people. Students learned a traditional Hawaiian dance honoring their history and connection to the land. We brought traditional attire and instruments made from natural Hawaiian materials, allowing the children to see the craftsmanship, hear the sounds, and experience the vibrant storytelling behind the dances. It was a colorful and meaningful experience that helped students understand the beauty and diversity of Native cultures across the world.

Para introducir a los estudiantes a otra cultura nativa, exploramos las tradiciones del pueblo hawaiano. Los niños aprendieron una danza tradicional que honra su historia y su conexión con la tierra. Trajimos vestimenta típica e instrumentos elaborados con materiales naturales de Hawái, permitiéndoles observar la artesanía, escuchar los sonidos y experimentar la narrativa cultural que vive dentro de estas danzas. Fue una experiencia colorida y significativa que ayudó a los estudiantes a comprender la belleza y diversidad de las culturas nativas alrededor del mundo.
